Sewing with Precuts

Recently, I found this wonderful publication by
Better Homes and Garden Special Interest Publications.
The magazine features quilts from fat quarters, strips and squares.
There are 22 Quick-to-cut quilts, fat quarter throws, and sew much more!

I'm a big fan of precuts!

This is one of my first quilts that I created with precuts. It was fun to make! I can relate to a beautiful stash of fabrics! This quilt was made with fabric scraps from a charm pack and jelly roll by Moda/Simplicity.

I love the simplicity!
The beautiful precut fabrics that come in a collection
are hard to resist!
The CREATIVE process is so FUN!
When I started making bags,
I started with five inch charm packs.
The fun part of this doll quilt was mixing precut fabrics!
I started sewing from my precut fabric scraps, which were fabric scraps from
the same Moda collection-layer cakes, charm packs and jelly rolls .
I placed chenille on the back,
and trimmed the doll quilt border with rick rack.
In the end, I was happy to have something FUN for my little daughter who
loves to play in the land of make believe
and I love to play in the land of Fabric!
The children's Tote Bag was made with 2 1/2 inch jelly roll strips.

This little girls TWIRLY REVERSIBLE skirt is one of my favorites!
I want to make more!
The fabrics are made from a Mary Engelbrite Charm Pack!

Precuts make it Simple to Sew A Little Happiness!
Sew Happy you are visiting!

Seems like this would save TONS of time! I don't like projects that are tedious. I'll be checking it out. Mimi
